Búzios always called people´s attention all over the world. In the XVII century, the place was a victm of constant invasions of French, Dutchmen and English. It was choosen as a famous pirates´ base. You can travel by land, sea or air. By land, for those who are leaving Rio de Janeiro will take Via Lagos and for those who are coming from other areas to the north will take BR- 101. There are also buses leaving Rio de Janeiro daily and every Friday in São Paulo. By the air, the option is Umberto Modiano airport, that operates with a track of 1300mX30m and has a capacity for executive jets, Fockker 27 and 50.
